Team Madagascar Ready to Transform Global Agriculture at the FIRST Global Challenge 2024 in Athens
STEM For Good, an NGO dedicated to promoting STEM education in Madagascar, proudly announces the selection of Team Madagascar to represent our country at the prestigious FIRST Global Challenge. This global robotics competition will be held from September 26 to 29, 2024, in Athens, Greece, under the evocative theme "Feeding The Future."
This year's FIRST Global Challenge focuses on the critical issues of sustainable food production. In response, our young talents are tasked with developing robotic solutions that not only increase food production efficiency but also ensure equitable and environmentally friendly distribution. This challenge highlights the urgency of the situation and inspires us to actively contribute to a more sustainable future.
Meet Team Madagascar 2024
- Tojo Emrick Rajomarison: grade 12 student at Ritcheyl School of Madagascar, Androhibe.
- Sahaza Andrinirariny: final year C student at Lycée Maria Manjaka, Andohalo.
- Ainafinaritra Manandraibe: grade 10 student at Vision Valley School, Talatamaty.
- Maharisoa Grace Raoloson: in second class at CONDORCET-LYCEE "Les Petits Lascars", Sabotsy Namehana.
- Alinoro Maria Ramamonjisoa: first grade TGI student at Collège Saint Michel, Amparibe.
Our team is managed by Hanitrarivo Rasoanaivo, with technical mentorship led by Zosahaza Marline Ramarosandy.
Preparing for the Global Stage
We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the robotics kit and will prepare intensively to excel in this international competition. This challenge represents an extraordinary opportunity for us to apply our STEM skills and collaborate on the global stage to bring innovative solutions to the urgent problems of our time.
